Your money deserves a steady hand, not a hot tip.
OakPillar Investments helps everyday Indian investors build wealth through Mutual Funds and the National Pension System — explained simply, followed up personally, and grounded in your actual goals.
AssetPlus is a SEBI-registered mutual fund distribution platform. I assist you as your registered distributor; your money and transactions stay directly between you, the AMC, and AssetPlus.

I started OakPillar Investments after years in operations, accounting support, and project coordination — work that taught me how much people lose by not understanding their own paperwork.
I'm an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor, NISM Series V-A certified, helping everyday investors approach Mutual Funds and NPS without the jargon that usually gets in the way.
I also write investor education content on Substack and LinkedIn — breaking down AMFI data and market trends into things you can actually use, not just headlines to scroll past.
This isn't about a single transaction. It's about checking in, year after year, so your money keeps doing what you set it out to do.
Monthly breakdowns, in plain language
I write about AMFI industry data, market trends, and practical money topics on Substack and LinkedIn — for everyday investors, not analysts.
Read my published articles on Substack
New investor-education pieces are published monthly — covering AMFI data, mutual fund trends, and topics relevant to everyday financial decisions in India.

Answers to common questions about mutual fund investing. Ask Anuj on WhatsApp if you need more.
A SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) lets you invest a fixed amount in a mutual fund every month, starting from as low as Rs 500. Each instalment buys units at the prevailing NAV. Over time, this averages out your purchase cost (Rupee Cost Averaging) and lets compounding work in your favour. SIPs build financial discipline without needing you to time the market.
Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Returns are never guaranteed. Your money is invested in market-linked securities whose value fluctuates. However, mutual funds are regulated by SEBI, your money is held in a separate trust (not the AMC's own funds), and all transactions are independently audited. Risk level varies by scheme — debt funds carry lower risk than equity funds.
Two simple ways: (1) Click "Start Investing on AssetPlus" and complete your KYC and account setup — I am mapped as your distributor automatically. (2) Fill the inquiry form or WhatsApp me directly — I will personally guide you through the entire process at no extra charge.
Most mutual fund schemes allow SIPs starting from Rs 500 per month. Some schemes allow even lower. You can start small and increase your SIP amount gradually as your income grows — this is called a Step-Up SIP. The most important thing is to start early and stay consistent.
As an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor, I earn a trailing commission from the Asset Management Company (AMC) on assets you invest. This commission is already built into the fund's Total Expense Ratio (TER) and is NOT an extra charge to you. You pay nothing additional to work with me. The TER is disclosed in the Scheme Information Document (SID) of each fund.
A Mutual Fund Distributor (MFD) like Anuj Devashrayee (ARN: 313718) is registered with AMFI and earns commission from AMCs. A SEBI-Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) charges a fee directly from the client and is prohibited from earning commissions. OakPillar Investments is an MFD — not a SEBI RIA — and does not provide personalised investment advice or portfolio management services.
NPS (National Pension System) is a government-backed, long-term retirement savings scheme regulated by PFRDA. At retirement (age 60), up to 60% of the corpus can be withdrawn tax-free; the remaining 40% must be used to purchase an annuity for monthly pension. NPS is ideal for salaried and self-employed individuals who want tax-efficient retirement planning — contributions qualify for additional deduction of Rs 50,000 under Section 80CCD(1B) beyond the standard 80C limit.
Yes — most open-ended mutual fund schemes allow redemption at any time. The amount is typically credited to your bank account within 1 to 3 business days. Exceptions: ELSS (tax-saving) funds have a mandatory 3-year lock-in. Some funds may charge an exit load if redeemed within a specified period — this is always disclosed in the scheme document before you invest.
You can log into your AssetPlus account anytime to view your portfolio, current values, and returns. You will also receive a Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) from CAMS or KFintech if there are transactions. Anuj stays in touch via WhatsApp with periodic context, so you are never left wondering about your portfolio.
Anuj Devashrayee is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor (ARN: 313718), NISM Series V-A Certified. OakPillar Investments is the operating brand name. All mutual fund transactions go through SEBI-regulated AMCs via the AssetPlus platform. OakPillar Investments is NOT a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser and does not provide personalised investment advice.
Tax depends on fund type and holding period. Equity funds: gains held over 1 year (LTCG) are taxed at 12.5% above Rs 1.25 lakh per year; gains under 1 year (STCG) taxed at 20%. Debt funds purchased after April 2023: gains are added to income and taxed at your slab rate. ELSS has a 3-year lock-in with LTCG treatment. Please consult a qualified tax advisor for your personal situation.
